In an age when many of Asia’s new courses are little more than man-made reconstructions of the environment, Blue Canyon’s developer and designer, Yoshikazu Kato, went to enormous lengths to ensure minimum interference with nature.

What was created is a masterpiece with spectacular, and sometimes daunting, natural hazards, plus acres of lakes accentuated by towering trees. Carved into a fertile landscape, framed by wooded hills and with the scenic Phang Nga Bay providing a stunning backdrop, the 7199-yard course also contains freshwater lakes and natural hazards to challenge even the very best golfers.
